Homeschool Financial Aid: New Hampshire Education Freedom Accounts

Dailies believes in the power of education for all students, regardless of where they live or what their family has. We are excited to share about a relatively new program, The Education Freedom Accounts program, that was designed specifically for families in New Hampshire who earn at or below 350% of the poverty line. This program was created to expand educational opportunities for families who may not otherwise have had a choice in personalized their child’s education.

4 main criteria in order to qualify for the EFA program:

  1. You and your student must be New Hampshire residents
  2. Your child must be at least 5 years old and no older than 20 years old and entering Kindergarten – 12th grade
  3. Your family’s income must be at or below 350% of the federal poverty level guidelines
  4. You must complete this application process and sign the EFA agreement, which includes agreeing to share academic accountability documents

The Education Freedom Account has strict funding guidelines; all applications, documents, and supporting documents must be completed and verified before EFAs can be awarded. For more information on these guidelines and who is not eligible, please visit nh.scholarshipfund.org.

Families that receive funding are able to spend it in any way they seem fit to empower and educate their child to their full potential. Many New Hampshire families have used their EFA to cover the expenses of tuition at a school of their choice, tutoring, online learning programs, and additional educational supplies which includes school uniforms, testing fees, and textbooks, and even computer hardware.

Dailies offers small group pods, 1-on-1 tutoring, enrichment classes, and an entire homeschool curriculum that all fall under the allowable use categories for the Education Freedom Account funding and program. Due to Dailies being a totally virtual program, we would encourage families to look into internet connectivity or other technology options as part of their spending, as well!

If you are eligible for the New Hampshire EFA program and are interested in Dailies, please do not hesitate to reach out so that we can find the best educational route for you and your family. We even offer the first class for FREE!

We know that not all of our Dailies students live in New Hampshire, so be sure to check out our other blog posts that talk more about financial aid programs in other states!
