Homeschool Financial Aid: Arizona Empowerment Scholarships

The unexpected costs of education can be overwhelming, especially for those who choose alternative methods of schooling. Luckily, there are numerous scholarship programs available across the United States that offer assistance to families who have decided to go with a more non-traditional educational journey.

One such state offering scholarships is Arizona! Arizona Empowerment Savings Accounts, or ESAs, are scholarships awarded to students who have withdrawn from public or charter schools for alternative schooling options. ESAs are government funded and help parents find the right educational support for not only their child, but for their family. Any Arizona K-12 student may apply for an Arizona Empowerment Scholarship, they just must be eligible for public school enrollment and have withdrawn from said public school when signing the ESA contract.

But what do ESAs have to do with Dailies?

Parents often use ESAs to offset the costs of:

  • Homeschooling
  • Educational Therapies
  • Tutoring
  • Private Schooling
  • Virtual Learning

-Supplemental Learning Opportunities

Do any of those look familiar?

They should, because Dailies offers almost all of those options!

DailiesSchool, DailiesPods, 1:1 Tutoring, and our Enrichment Camps would all be covered under an Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account.

While the amounts of each scholarship will vary, according to the Arizona Department of Education, ESA students in grades 1-12 may receive up to $7,000 while those in kindergarten may receive up to $4,000.

More information on Arizona Empowerment Scholarships, including how to apply, can be found on the Arizona Department of Education website.

We know that not all of our Dailies students live in Arizona, so be sure to check out our other blog posts that talk more about financial aid programs in other states!
